Again the Free Pairs top 3 were Italian. The team straight from Junior with the title last year put up a very hard challenge for the Senior title, but a very strong performance from a previous Italian Senior team took advantage of the missing defending champions & claimed the top spot

I can understand having 3 free pairs on the floor at a time for a warm up. I don't get how they came to the conclusion that 6 dance couples would be ok in a group. There were enough close calls in the practices, but to leave this for the competition warm-up & squeeze in all these pairs for a dance like the Paso & their fast moving Original Dances seems unfair for the skaters.
