Nationals never really feels the same when it's in your home town & you have to juggle being focused on your competition while still having to deal with the regularities of home.

We were lucky enough to have Auckland Sports Photography as the official photographer for the Championships who did a spectacular job with both the Road, Artistic & Flat Track. We thank Steve for providing Westies on Wheels with a small selection. You can still purchase photo's but will need to contact Steve privately from his website as the photo's will not be displayed online.

Once again the ASB stadium was a superb venue for the Championships with an extremely consistent surface. In the time since we last competed there the floor has been re-surfaced to a lighter colour which made it much easier for taking photo's.
