Unfortunately during the last speed race a group arrived who had been double booked over our time and proceeded to move tables out over the floor. All during heated discussions with Jane, the centre & the groups organiser the remainder of the group continued to unload onto the floor & take over the kitchen. In the end we were forced to run 2 events where the competitors were only in Auckland for the day and evacuate the premises. The skaters did very well to skate under extreme stress caused by this group & the remaining events were run the following morning which due to the food & beverages that were consumed over the floor surface left a lot to be desired...
